French paintor born in Oran, Algeria in 1952. Lives and works between Paris and the south of France.
In 1976, after secondary education of draughtsman at School of Fine Arts of Perpignan, he turned to interior design. In 1982, following numerous journeys, in particular in the United States, Nadal decided to dedicate his time to painting.
His very uncluttered artistic expression is essentially focused on black and white. These two materials, according to their matt effects or their shines, allied to meticulous techniques of brushing and smoothing, express a world in three dimensions. His pictorial universe consists of cubes, calligraphy, compactions of feathers, floating objects.
