GIANADDA FOUNDATION PRIZE 2017

ANDRE RABOUD AWARDED

12.01.2017

André Raboud, artist represented by our gallery in Gstaad, received last November in Paris the 2017 Gianadda Foundation prize awarded by the Academy of Fine Arts.

This is the first time this prize has been awarded to a Swiss artist. The prize, created in 2010 by Léonard Gianadda, a member of the Académie des beaux-arts in Paris as a foreign associate since 2003, rewards André Raboud for his entire work.

A selection of his bronze and granit sculptures will be exhibited this winter at the gallery, don't miss it !

Valentina de Matha

We are delighted to show you Valentina de Matha, a new Swiss artist who is joining our gallery from this summer. Valentina works in a dark room where she plays with the colors she creates by chemical reaction on a delicate emulsified paper. The result is absolutely splendid, this young artist who innovates by the technique lets presume a promising future. Valentina de Matha has already exhibited in Europe but also in the Atlantic, integrated prestigious collections and regularly works on beautiful projects for institutions such as the Lugano Art Museum or the Cini Foundation in Venice.
